Dear All,

We really should get the RA talk series going again. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet others in the building and get to know about interesting work that everyone is doing (and have lunch at CPR expense, of course). So please do volunteer, or suggest names of researchers in the building who we can approach to tell us more about their work.

Those who havent attended an RA talk yet - this is an internal CPR event, which gives CPR researchers an opportunity to present their ongoing research work to their peer group (faculty members are welcome and do drop by occasionally). The idea is to get a sense of the kind of research being undertaken by other groups in CPR. For the presenter/s - feedback before finalising your research deliverable could be useful, along with the experience of presenting your work to a wider audience. The format is a 15-20 minutes presentation followed by an hour long Q&A/ discussion.

Ankit (ICEE) and Manish (Urban) have very kindly agreed to take over the organisation of these talks. So please do write to them (Manish <man...@cprindia.org> and Ankit Bhardwaj <ankit.b...@cprindia.org>) if you would like to present or have any questions.

Regards,
Shibani

Ps Happy to inform you that we have a RA talk line up for next month (14th November by Mridusmita, AI). Details will be sent soo.
