Dear Colleagues

We are organizing a collection drive at CPR to contribute to the ongoing relief efforts for Kerala. We shall be collecting the following material in cartons stationed at the second floor coffee machine seating area. We request you all to come forward and donate the following items which we understand are most urgently needed to aid the relief efforts:

Ready to Eat foods: Oats, Maggi, Energy bars, Protein bars
Tea powder, Coffee powder
Sugar, Salt
Medicines like Paracetamol, Cetrizine, Emset, Metformin, Azithromycin and Rantac
Baby foods: Cerelac, Pediasure
Glucose powder
Biscuits
Sanitary napkins
Dettol
Matchbox
Candles
Torches and Batteries
Mosquito coils and mosquito nets, Odomos
Garbage disposal bags
Bedsheets, blankets, towels in usable condition
Steel plates, bowls, spoons
Water purifying tablets

We urge you all to come forward for whatever little we can do from our end. Anjana John, formerly with CPR, is already in the midst of coordinating relief efforts and has kindly volunteered to have the donations picked up from the office during the week.

Warm Regards,
Eesha and Mukta
(with coordination support from Anjana).

Dear Rajika and everyone else wanting to donate,
We will try and set up boxes in the canteen space or thereabouts. Let’s try and collect Monday/Tuesday and send the stuff by Thursday morning?
Regards
Mukta

Dear Colleagues

This is to inform that cartons have been set up on the second floor near the elevator (those in office today for work--Vincy, Bom Bhaiya, Ravi Raunaq helped set this up). Request you all to please come forward and donate. We shall be collecting contributions over the next two days, and hope to have them sent by Thursday morning.

Warm Regards,
Eesha, Mukta and Vincy.

Hi everyone,
Thanks to everyone’s contributions, we have been able to collect Rs 34,500, from which we bought Rs 17,200 worth of brand new clothes, cleaning supplies and much-needed medicines. These, as well as the items that people brought in have been despatched to Kerala already. A shout out to everyone who pitched in! And thank you Nimmi, for helping us access the best possible collection network to send our relief cartons.
Our strategy going ahead is to connect with groups involved in rebuilding efforts, and check on what is required for reconstruction and rehabilitation. We do have some cash from the collections which we will use basis the info we get from the ground. You are still welcome to donate money, but we have stopped collecting things now, so please do not bring more items to donate
Once again, thank you for your generosity! We will update you soon on next steps...
Warm regards
Mukta, Eesha, Vincy
