I'm opening this discussion for us to put together our banner project.
We can update our progress here.

I'm planning to put together a new banner image based on the feedback
I received from the last officer's meeting. It will be titled fig 4.
I'm waiting on the results with what Michael O and Lindsay have been
able to do with the CPP IEEE logo.

I finished most of the new banner image and posted it on our group
page on facebook (titled Fig. 4). I obtained the year established from
Jose E. from his research (Oct. 1964). All I need is our updated CPP
IEEE logo and the banner will be ready to be presented for development
or for further corrections if need be.

One question I have is since we also now have the month IEEE was
established at Cal Poly Pomona, should we include it on the banner?
I'm personally happy with the year only but I'd like to see how
everyone else feels about this.

Ok the fig 4. banner project is now on hold as Jose was able to get us
hooked up with a general IEEE banner. It looks like we might have our
banner and without having to pay any money for it.
