Hello all,

I agree with the situation and that a second advisor is necessary to finish out this quarter.

Ryan or Jose, can you find out if any paperwork is necessary to officially make Dr. Lin our second advisor? I believe so but am not 100% sure.

Jose, have you completed the research and planning of the Big bear cabin? I have to report to ISA about this and it needs to be done ASAP.

    Just an FYI:
Today Dr. Zeki informed me that he can't be the advisor for IEEE this
quarter and said that professor Tim Lin will be the one taking over
the advising position for this quarter. Dr. Zeki also told me that he
will be able to take the Advisor position next quarter and to put up
Tim Lin's profile next to his profile on the CPP IEEE profile page.

Eric,

I talked to one of the OSL coordinators and they reassured me that we could go through with Big Bear and disregard the new executive order requiring travel insurance. We, however, may not use any ASI money (from either of the two accounts.) I will email last year's participants by Friday and see how many of them are interested in coming back. I'm thinking we should reserve the cabin for the weekend of Dec 19th. We should get a bigger turn out this weekend.

I think we originally planned for the 11-13th of December because we assumed that some people would leave Pomona to go back home (wherever that may be) so we wanted to make it as close to the end of the quarter as possible.  In your email to last year's participants please ask which weekend they'd prefer.  We should have a defined date by the end of this week.  All officers, please say which weekend you'd prefer.  I can make either one.
