Senior Sharepoint Developer

Duration: six month plus contract

Location: Orlando, FL

The candidate should have the ability to develop, configure and deploy SharePoint-based applications/solutions and customize SharePoint sites. Developer/Programmer must have skills to develop/implement, customize and maintain web parts within the SharePoint environment and develop new templates and customize existing templates to meet specific user requirements. The candidate must be able to perform workflow analysis and design in support of customer needs. Additionally, the person must have the ability to work with users to elicit requirements, document requirements and translate those requirements into a workable solution. Job requires extensive SharePoint experience (training may be required for SharePoint 2010 release) or background and/or experience building, configuring and customizing SharePoint sites/web parts, or working in a .net development environment. Skills integrating SharePoint with existing applications and data sources is a positive. Ability to work independently and to multitask effectively is important.

The task requires working with project managers to develop deployment strategies that provide a seamless transition to users. This includes providing expertise to the project manager to help determine development priorities consistent with project goals. Support development of training presentations, and other end-user materials, illustrating new/existing capabilities. Serve as SharePoint capabilities subject matter expert in IT system/database compatibility assessments to ensure our collaborative environment is best utilized and serving Program customers.

Level of experience:
At least 4-6 years of related experience in the field of SharePoint development, configuration, customization, and deployment.
