Notice is hereby given for the Annual Western Cape Canoe Union AGM:
Date: Thursday 28th May 2015
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Milnerton Canoe Club
All Exco committee members as well as interested WCCU paddlers are invited to attend this meeting. Pls note that only members in good standing i.e. registered and paid up members of the WCCU and their clubs will be allowed to participate in this meeting. No voting is done by proxy or post.
Motions for discussion and nominations for the Executive Committee and Sub-Committees will be taken (see extract from WCCU Constitution below).
The following Executive positions will be available:
Executive Chairman
Executive Secretary
Executive Treasurer

Pls ensure that your submissions are accepted for the AGM by following the procedure for notices of motion below and that they are received timeously. Late submissions will not be accepted. Final date for submissions is 14th May 2015.
“Notices of motion to be raised must be in writing and signed by the Chairman or Secretary of a club, or by the Chairman or Secretary of the Officials Committee, or by not less than three registered paid-up club members. It must reach a member of the Management Committee not less than 14 clear days before the meeting.
A copy of the agenda as well as the motions for discussion will be circulated 10 days before the meeting for your perusal.
