Case Number. 2013-29180
Incident Type: Commercial Robbery
7-ELEVEN
Suspect: black male..
On the above listed date and time, officers responded to 605 West Colonial Drive (7-11) for a commercial robbery.
An emergency channel was immediately obtained.
An unknown black male subject entered the 7-11 and implied he had a gun in his bag and forced the clerk to open the register. The subject then took the money from the register and multiple packs of cigarettes from the store. The subject then left the store on foot in unknown direction. CSI's and CID were notified and responded to the scene.
And the fence still isn't fixed! It's been over a month since I first contacted the City and 7Eleven (Dec 11). This is not a complicated project. I used to turn around fence permit reviews in a day when I worked in City Planning.
Maybe we should plant a vegetable garden there to make this a more urgent matter.

At the meeting, we were told by Grant, of 711 Corp that plans were with the City. Doug stated that things were well behind but (I hate buts) he would look into it to perhaps expedite the process. In that we have yet to hear back from Grant, who promised us a wrap up last week; they have already had a robbery 2 weeks to the day of opening, I think perhaps a well worded "shot across the bow" is in order to include Señor Doug, who I did not get a helpful feeling from but more of the typical bureaucratic CYA BS.I'll rip something off to him before noon if I haven't heard anything.I agree, I think we plant a vegetable garden complete with chickens. We may get better responses.
