Good Evening,

I apologize that more details were not available at the end of business day today. I understand your concerns and desire for additional details and answers to some questions. I am able to provide some additional details regarding these arrests.  I am not in the office, and was in a training class all week, but I hope the following is helpful:

Over the past month, although there was not an increase in over all residential burglaries, there were several that occurred in the areas of College Park and, Delaney Park. Detectives have been actively investigating these cases, and through that investigation which is still active, have so far established that the suspects listed did commit these crimes.  I am currently unable to access the specifics on date and exact location of the burglaries, but am providing some details.  As part of the investigation, detectives were able to obtain arrests warrants on the suspects listed in the initial email.

One of the burglaries occurred on Yates Street in College Park where a car was also stolen. That burglary resulted in the arrests of Fisher, Watson, and Vega.  In addition, there is a suspect who has not been arrested but there is an active arrest warrant for a suspect identified as Dominique Thomas, B/M, 6-30-92, for the charges of burglary and grand theft.

Cade was arrested yesterday.  Fisher, Watson, and Vega were arrested today.

In relation to a burglary that occurred on Dellwood Street in the Delaney Park area, Cade was arrested on the obtained warrant.

The four suspects arrested were located by the Orlando Police Fugitive Investigation Unit. It is believed that Thomas is very aware of the active warrant for his arrest however has not been located at this time.

The investigation is still active and there is a strong connection between the suspects as well as the crimes they are committing, as they are acting as a burglary and theft ring.  There are anticipated additional charges as well as additional arrests in the future regarding this ring of criminals, as the investigation continues. These arrests are due to the excellent work by our detectives. As the investigation continues, we ask that If anyone knows any information about this burglary and theft ring, they are asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

In addition, our crime prevention unit offers free security surveys for homes and businesses in the City of Orlando.  These surveys provide free recommendations and ways to help protect your home from burglary. If a citizen would like a free crime prevention residential survey, please contact our crime prevention unit at 407-246-2461.

There are no additional details or information at this time.  I will hopefully be able to provide you more details as they become available.  Thank you and have a great weekend.

Sgt. Jim Young
