Good afternoon everyone!

Well we are quickly approaching the eleventh hour for getting our container north, so far our efforts have not been in vain - we are going to get this thing over the line and possibly even within budget!

We have just had confirmation from Eclipse Organisers of the number of tickets they have available for us at $250, so we can finally ask you for the money and get your tickets out to you asap. We were able to get 15 tickets from Eclipse and a few more from other places (thank you Mel G!)

A big part of our budget comes from these ticket sales and since most of our outgoings have to be paid before the 21st (this sunday for container packing) we need this cash pronto.

AS PER THE CREW LIST PAGE - TICKETS REQUIRED BY CREW ARE IN RED - PLEASE MAKE PAYMENT

If this is relevant to you, please put $250 into our account on receipt of this email. Our bank details are at the top of the crew list on the camp fee column. Mark your online payment by referencing your last name. If you pay for two or more people, reference their names as well.

If you have your name down for a ticket and your name is BELOW the row indicating 'Tickets below this line are $300' then as you might expect you will need to pay $300 for your ticket, it's a question of first come first served unfortunately and we can only work with what we have been given.

For those of you who have not paid your $50 camp fee yet: please do so post haste. As indicated above, almost all our expenses need to be covered this week and by delaying your payment you are letting the team down a bit. Once you make payment, write PAID in the appropriate field and once this payment has been verified in our account we will colour the field blue.

Regarding the Container Packing Extravaganza this Sunday 21st. There are two possible yards that the container will be at, they are very close to one another and owned by the same company but we will not have the exact address for a couple more days. Rest assured however that we will be getting everything together on Sunday so please, those of you who have been busy building, collecting, sourcing and constructing - make sure you are able to get your project down the end of the Eastern Freeway this Sunday. Look for the exact address to follow.

The container has been certified for rail transport and is booked on the train to Cairns ex Melb for the 29th of Oct. It will be then taken to the site from the Cairns depot on the afternoon of wed 7th, which is when the first crew will arrive.

Finally, our Thursday night costume has been decided by crew as 'Bollywood Ninja'. The team is meeting this Wednesday and will be coming up with some helpful costume tips for all three themes - for those of you who may be going 'Huh?!', we will get this info out to you asap.

Thanks so much guys, onward!

Hey guys,

Finding it hard to find time to go to the bank to give you my $50. I was wondering if there was a paypal account I could pay through. All I would need is an email address connected to a paypal account.

Cheers,

Sam

Morning team CPL,

As always...loving your work...!!!

We, Jeannie and I, are heading north on the 6th to be on site on the 7th...what is the procedure for gaining early access for set up...?

Hey there, thanks for raising this for the benefit of all...

All people requiring early access to set up camp will need their name on a special list to be sent to Eclipse Org, which we will be compiling from the Crew list (Master Doc)

If your name is not on the crew-list (with your arrival time and date) you will not be included on this early entry list and will be unable to gain access earlier than lunchtime on the 10th.

Please note, early access is gained through Coco Poco Loco ONLY to assist us in raising camp, not to secure yourself a good campsite or to avoid the queue. If you are arriving in Cairns on the 8th or 9th and are not too bothered either way with getting in early, please make the change on the crew list to arrive on the 10th - we are unable to support the entire camp earlier than the 10th and the entire crew is not required to pitch camp.

I stress again, early passes are only provided to those who intend to work for a few days to get the camp ready, not as a get-in-early luxury.

Thanks guys!

G'day CPLers,

If it is not too late Michael Ackerly and Jelena Curcic would like to join you building the CPL camp.

We land in Cairns on the morning of the 7th.

Jeannie and John, is it possible to grab the lift with you guys to the site ( we fly to Cairns)? ( I realise I maybe be putting this message in the wrong spot, I have some late night reading to do when I get back from work tonight).

Also we need to put in now $50 each into CPL account correct for the camping fee?

Michael wants to know do you need any cordless tools or any other tools?

I hope I have this right.

Hey Jelena

Thanks for getting in touch, no it's not too late, glad to have you on boad! You need to add your names to the crew list via the google group master document, go through it thoroughly and put your names next to a job on a rostered day and put your camp fees  ($50 each) in to our account today if possible.

Mike, if you can bring some cordless tools with you that would be ace. Steph was looking for a cordless drill, Steph in reading is this still the case?

We are packing our container early this Sunday if you want to put tools in for the ride up... if you read through all the posts all the info you need is available as to whats going on

Cheers guys!

Hola!

I'm going to need a cordless drill & screwdriver to aid in shower construction! So this will be great. The possibility of multiple tools makes me excited. Experience with my limited involvement of camp / burning man builds is that you never have enough tools to go 'round.

I will be putting in a cordless drill, but I imagine it will get a lot of use so a second would be great.

Guten Morgen Mine Kliene Crazy Coconuts

Please get your laughing gear around the following important information before the weekend:

1. CONTAINER PACKING - Confirmed address for the Container packing this weekend is 33 Kalman Drive, Boronia. We have a morning window to get this completed, so please arrive from 9am sharp to get cracking on this. Hangovers welcomed. It's great to see 20+ people committed to being there on Sunday so thank you - just remember if you arrive sometime after lunch you might be waiting around a locked gate wondering where everyone is - get there early peeps!

2. CAMP ROSTER AND CAMP FEES - So far over 80 people have signed up to take part in CPL at Eclipse, which is fantastic, but as always it is the same people that are getting properly involved and the newbies that are standing on the sidelines not taking part. Taking part (at this point) means getting your name to a job on the roster, signing up to the container packing on the weekend (if you can make it), paying for your camp fees/tickets and paying attention to emails. This is not a big ask considering the effort that core crew are putting in. We are fairly understanding of your lack of understanding (because this may be your first adventure with us and you are new to how it all works) but only up to a point. It is waste of our time in the extreme to have to chase you about this stuff, so get on with doing your bit or find yourself summarily scratched off the list. Do not put Alex Gill in the position where she has to release her Bloodhound!!!

3. EARLY ENTRY - To reiterate, we will be sending a list to Eclipse Org. of crew helping set up camp, so they can get in before the 10th. This list of names which will be complied from our Crew List by looking at the arrival dates you have indicated therein. If you haven't put this down, do not expect to get in early. Also, if you're not actually coming to bust a gut getting our camp pitched, then please put your arrival date as the 10th or after, we do not have unlimited access for all crew pre the 10th.

4. BAR and BOOZE - Please bring a bottle to contribute to the bar AND some mixers to go with it. Mixers are always a hard one to manage and tend to run out before the hard liquor does, from experience this is from crew 'dabbling' in the pot for their own personal use. Please bring enough mixers for yourself as well as the bar. We are purchasing a certain amount of booze to get the bar going but we rely heavily on both crew and punter contributions as well. 80+ peeps in camp  = 80+ bottles of spirits and mixer which is a HUGE amount so please commit to getting some decanted into a plastic bottle to bring to camp. Please remember your own dedicated cup to bring as well.

5. COSTUMES - Committing to getting a costume organised for the three evenings we are hosting, ensures the high impact effect of getting EVERYONE involved. If only half of us show in costume it's a bit, well, half arsed, but 80 CPL'ers dressed in PINK has a big wow factor. Your costumes do not have to be expensive and can easily be sourced for cheap at savers/op shops etc. Please see below if you need a little bit of direction, please note of course that your costume is entirely your own so go nuts within the theme provided!

Thanks guys, see y'all Sunday!
