Dear CPGIS members and Friends,

I am writing to share a great piece of news that Annals of GIS has received its first ever official impact factor. The impact factor for 2022 is 5.0 with a five year average is 4.3. It currently ranks in Q1 among the journals in Geography, Physical Geography, and Remote Sensing. We believe that this is an excellent start. This success would not be possible without your support, so thank you.

The high impact factor signifies that the papers published in Annals of GIS have a high visibility in the research community. I invite you all to publish or continue to publish in Annal of GIS, our own society journal.

I hope that you will share this wonderful news through your networks and continue to support us in our efforts to move Annals of GIS to a much higher level.

Best wishes,

A-Xing
