The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Unit at the Department of Geography, University of Zurich (UZH) invites applications for a fully funded PhD student position in the area of Spatial Mobility Analytics, situated in one of our group's focus areas in big mobility data analytics for urban applications, deep learning for place function modeling, mobility analytics for health applications, or movement simulation in animal ecology. The PhD project will have a strong methods-oriented focus, but will be linked to related research projects which we carry out in collaboration with partners in relevant related disciplines.
