Організатори громадської акції "Тиждень довіри" розповіли про цілі
візиту Раджмохана Ґанді в Україну
23 лютого в Українському інформаційному агентстві новин УНІАН відбулася
прес-конференція організаторів першого візиту в Україну онука Махатми
Ґанді, великого "батька" індійської нації і лідера світового руху без
насильства, Раджмохана Ґанді.
Організатором приїзду виступила Міжнародна громадська організація
"Основи Свободи", що є частиною міжнародної асоціації "Ініціативи
змін", очолюваної паном Ґанді.
Учасники прес-конференції розповіли, що метою візиту, який стане
частиною світового турне Раджмохана Ґанді, буде участь у всеукраїнській
громадській акції "Тиждень довіри". Під час подорожі Україною, що
розпочнеться 19 квітня 2010 року, Раджмохан Ґанді відвідає Київ та Крим.
“Тиждень довіри”, який триватиме з 16 по 23 квітня, має на меті
закликати українців переосмислити значення довіри для кожного з нас і
для держави в цілому.
Зокрема, координатор візиту Р. Ґанді в Україну Зоряна Борбулевич,
звертаючись до всіх українців, зазначила: "Чим вітає Тебе сьогодення?
Воно жбурляє тобі просто в обличчя різноманітні виклики: економічні,
політичні, соціальні, екологічні і т.д. Але це все - зовнішні симптоми
хвороби набагато глибшої, зашитої чи не в менталітет нашої нації –
дефіциту довіри. Даною кампанією ми не прагнемо прикладати компреси на
зовнішні симптоми, а радше "спровокувати" глибинні зміни. Кожен з нас
може бути інструментом таких змін".

Organisers of the civil campaign "A Week of Trust" presented the goals
of the visit of Rajmohan Gandhi to Ukraine.
On February 23, 2010, the the organisers of the first visit of the
grand-son of Mahatma' Gandhi, the great father of Indians and the leader
of the world movement for non-violance - Rajmohan Gandhi - hold the
press conference in the Ukrainian News Information Agency UNIAN.
International non-governmental organisation "Foundations for Freedom"
which is a part of the Initiatives of Change movement became one of
organisers of the honorary visit.
The participants of the press conference told that the visit of Rajmahan
to Ukraine will be a part of the worldwide tournee of Rajmohan Gandhi.
The main goal of the visit to Ukraine is the participation in the
All-Ukrainian civic campaign "A Week of Trust" to be started on April
19. Rajmohan Gandhi is planning to visit Kyiv and Crimea.
"A Week of Trust in Ukraine" will be taken on April 16-23, when
Ukrainians will be called to try to re-think the meaning of the trust
for each of us and for our country in the whole.
Zoriana Borbulevych, a coordinator of the visit of Mr. Gandhi to Ukraine
appealed to all Ukrainians: "How does present day salute you? It makes
you face with different kind of challenges: economical, political,
ecological et al. However, all of them are external signs of a sick,
which is much deeper, hidden almost at the level of our nation mental
level - the trust shortage. With our campaign we do not aspire to apply
poultices to the external symptoms, rather to provoke in-depth changes.
All of us can become a tool of such changes".
