CPC 2024 Holiday Party

Dear CPC friends and family 🙂

This year the CPC Holiday party is going to be on Sunday December 15th, and all club members and friends of the club are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Since it’s a kid friendly event it will start at 4pm. We have the party room reserved in the Lucky Labrador Beer Hall in Southwest Portland. The address is:  1945 NW Quimby St, Portland, OR 97209.  The club will be paying for pizza and the salad bar and you will have to order any other food items and beverages on your own. We will have a white elephant gift exchange; just as a gentle reminder—if you want your entire group or family to participate in the gift exchange, please bring enough white elephant gifts for everyone in your group. We’ve run into some problems in the past when there weren’t enough gifts for everyone to be able to participate because some large groups only brought one gift. Santa won’t be around on the 15th to provide any extra white elephant gifts so everyone will only be able to participate if everyone brings gifts to exchange!

The It’s a great opportunity for many of us to get together in one place and catch up with each other’s lives and share fun moments in time with stories of flying and driving and waiting experiences. It would be awesome to have a big turnout, and it would be spectacular if we can provide the manager at the Lucky Lab at least a tentative head count in advance so they can plan for the number of pizzas to make and have an appropriate number of servers to help.  If you are on Facebook, please click “going” on the invitation:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1217393512894706 .  You don’t have to RSVP but it would be helpful if you do!
