He is a club member and has posted about flying. The facebook group is not really club related. I did remove the pillow fight video as I am not sure how it could be interpreted as flying related in any way. Normally I don’t really follow the facebook page but your comment did lead me to check it out. Sometimes people just post unrelated things with good intentions or trying to be fun, so If it was inappropriate to remove it then please state a CPC and/or flying related reason for it and it could be reinstated. Also I may have missed something but why do you mention it on this thread! Please everyone do not pile onto this: Its unnecessary to take sides just because we need something to occupy covid fatigue! Myself, Steve and Matt will all hold a hike and fly contest up Sevenmile Hill and I will lose, Steve and Matt will tie and have a pillow fight to determine the winner … Ok did that tie it all together 😊

Who is Matt Yodis ? posting stupid stuff staged fake random pillow fights? on the CPC facebook page which seem to be a wide open membership even if you have nothing to do with flying in the NW.
Trying to not be a total curmudgeon, but really ?

I've looked at that hill as the logical place to cross the river on a Cliffside XC, but haven't checked it out as a launch. It is steep enough in places (steepest looks to be about 3.5:1 just above the trailhead parking), but you'd need a quick thermal or you're in the bottom of the valley, which is probably all private. Further up the hill isn't as steep, so you'd want a true SE wind. Worth a look but a long drive for me.

There is an intermediate hilltop just 400 ft above the trailhead on Forest Service land (of many uses...). Just thinkin’ about it.. Pete
