Hello Fellow Pilots, 

Helping Direct the Pine Mt. Flyin for the past few years I am looking forward to meeting many new and older pilots for our Flyin this year!  I always love to see the BIG SMILES on peoples faces after flying the Magical Air at Pine Mt.  

This year we have had some changes.  First I want to take a moment and say Thank You to Frankie Aspinwall who's allowed us to fly on "Frankie's Flying Farm" for the last 30+ years and host the Fly In event there.  However this year she has asked for us not to host the fly in on her property this year.  

Considering this change and also a pandemic over the last 18+ months we are going to have a more informal fly in this year.  

For All those wanting to Camp....camping will be dispersed around Pine Mt area.   There are a lot of spots in the forest and also a camp ground at the Pine Mt Observatory.  (Google It) 🙂 

Also I will be inviting Anyone who would like to camp on my 5 acre property which is near the LZ area.  Please call me 971-285-5826 if this is of interest to you. 

For those wanting to have a daily weather report and coordination of mid day flying this will be at the Y.  Please click on this link to see the map for Pine Mt. and where "The Y"  is located.  Also I encourage every pilot that has not flown here read the site guide and info for PM please...its for YOUR safety and the safety of others.  Please remember this is an USPHA site and you MUST have your membership & be current to fly this site. 

Each Morning at "The Y" on  Saturday, Sunday, and Monday @10am we will have a brief weather report from one of our local pilots.  Then around 10:30-11am start making plans for those who would like to fly mid day.   

I am personally Inviting ANYONE who would like on Saturday Night after flying like to have a BBQ & Beers on my 5 acres.  This will be a BYO food and beers event and again to HAVE FUN and Socialize with other Awesome People in our flying community.   

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about camping, flying, or anything related to our Flyin this year!!   My Goal is to see a bunch of HAPPY and EXCITED pilots having a safe and memorable trip to Pine Mt.!!
