I have a Gin Sprint.( not Evo)...and seriously love it. It may be the most supremely perfect glider made. For Realz.
Also.
Its been FiveDog rated three times in just one season. All three times its been rated with triple digits on a double digit rating system. Which is unheard of for industry standards.

Keywords.....All up, monster flights, woof, woo-hoo, hell yeah, this thing is sick, i want two of them, airtime madness, beep beep beep beep, deep penetration,

Just get one.

Hmm...The Sprint Evo is on my list as well, as is the Mentor 2. I'm having a mental breakdown trying to decide which one of those two would be better (Mentor 2 is 3 lines and from all of the reports will out-perform the Sprint, Mentor 2 uses polyamide rodes in the leading edge which are more robust than the mylar in the Sprint, but it seems like you just can't go wrong with a Gin).

Decisions decisions.....

From what I understand he had at least a 5 minutes sled ride on that glider! But never trust a review from an anonymous dog.

I would also look at the Air Design Rise in this class http://ad-gliders.com/en/product/paragliders/volt . The design is based on the Pure a hot 2-3 or D class that I am flying and it has been an amazing wing for me. Stephan Stiegler formerly of UP is the designer and he has built many well loved wings. They also have The Volt,a C out that I have not heard much about yet.

The Artic 3 is in big demand and is bringing the performance of the classic D class (not the new 2.5 lines like Icepeak 6) to the C class. Brad Gunnuscio has a demo and was really impressed after flying it.. I haven't yet had a chance to fly it or fly with it but it looks great.

I've looked at both the Rise and the Arktik 3. The Artik 3 is right out for me, too high of an aspect ratio (5.9 flat). I've watched an Artik 3 launch, watched the tips flop in and out, and quite frankly that's a bit more excitement than I need at this point in my flying  (I'm still a relative noob).  The Rise would be a good choice as well, but to be honest there are a whole bunch of wings that are pretty close, including the Rise, the Rush 3, the Mentor 2, and the Sprint Evo.

The wing I *really* want to see is the Gradient Nevada, but they're not responding to inquiries and I just have no idea when that wing will be available.

One of the best resources I've found for armchair evaluations of wings is the Dust of the Universe page (http://ziadbassil.blogspot.com). He's flown pretty much everything out there and posts what look to be fairly balanced comparisons of all of the wings. His summary of the current crop of high end EN-B wings boils down to "you'll probably love any of them" (my words, not his). It looks like he gives a slight edge to the Mentor 2 in performance, but at a cost of slightly more active piloting required.

Wait for the new Uturn Obsession3 to come out in a few months. This
is the best all around glider for pilots that was great glide, sporty
handling and safety of 1-2 class.

Hmm...if we wait for the Obsession then we can also wait for the Nevada, at which point undoubtedly somebody else will have another wing in the works that will be out "real soon"...in the mean time, there's flying to be done!

In case anyone doubts my expertise, here are some photos showing me flying one of my cutting edge wings. Bet you wish you could buy this type of performance?

That's great!
So funny. I like picture 3 where you have that bent stance. In all the old 80's and early 90's videos of paragliding they seemed to launch with a similar stance. You were going for a very authentic recreation of 1990's flight, eh?
Attached is a picture of Forslund that is actually from a couple years before he was flying the Meteor. I think Roti took this photo.

The Gradient Nevada was to be the upgraded version of the Bliss.  The upgraded version did not pass the classification test and Gradient did not want to pay for another test process so they renamed it  the XC.  Gradient XC has progressed thru several versions and is now at XC 3 or XC 4.  I have been flying Gradient, Saphir, Bliss, XC 2, for years.  This glider is rated  2/3 performance.  Hope this helps

It is all hip especially when your risers are so low.
No doubt Roti was shooting with his Speed Graphic

There's a lot of confusion about the Nevada, primarily because they're re-using the name of a wing that they used to make even though this appears to be a completely new design. The new Nevada sits squarely between the Golden3 and the Aspen4 and is a DHV 1-2, EN-B design. It shares the DD line design that is used on the Aspen4 which allows a decent reduction in line drag.

The only problem is that it's due out "real soon now", and has been for quite some time...

I'm not worthy of the meteor. I don't have the wicked cool form-fitting harness (who needs back protection or a reserve?) nor have I mastered the requisite silly knees-bent running about launching behavior...

For clarification, the Gradient Nevada that Glen is talking about isn't part of the Bliss/XC line of Gradient 2-3 gliders, it's a new EN B glider coming out this year ...

"Gradient is preparing a new glider in its range. Nevada is placed in between Golden3 and Aspen4 gliders. We are in the stage of final testing. The weather is going better every day so we can finally test Nevada beside of maneuvers also in the real thermal conditions. Feedback from thermal and soaring flying is very good, very easy flying characteristics with high performance potential due to Gradient well proved DDsystem. We would like to be ready with sizes 24,26 and 28 in European spring, the size 28 is nearly ready for EN B certification. More information coming soon."

For further clarification, the XC line was to be called Nevada back when they were tweeking the proto at Chelan.  We were able to get this info from the Gradient team flying the last Nevada proto before submitting to dhv. At that time They were still making the Bliss but were hoping their new version, to be named Nevada, would pass the, then dhv test.  It did not pass one of the tests .  In order to pass Gradient would have to retweek the proto and resubmit plus pay for another testing to pass.  At this time they took what they had and renamed it the XC series.  I guess now they are now working on another, lower class cert., glider Nevada.  According to their website.  I wouldn't hold my breath for one this season.  You know how long it takes to get one in production.  And glider companies love to tease us pilots with tempting reviews.

Hope you get one,  James

I like the pink pajamas.  They make you look almost as hot as me when I wore my my Speedo to the local high school pool last week.

I was 4th to goal in on a task at the Nepal Open, Above me and slightly ahead were Arnold and Claudio, - Arnold was on a Ozone M4 (full bar) and Claudio on a Nova (Full Bar)  - exactly the same glide!!!!! - I was going faster than either but I was 10k overweight and sinking, but we had lots of height! (I was on my M4)

Point being the Nova was amazing on bar!. An R10 took the day. But Claudio took the open.

Preacher.
