Hey flying friends!
Just a quick reminder that Peterson Butte (Wheeler property) closes tomorrow for the season. The family has asked that we stay away until November 1. There were a couple of instances in previous summers in which someone said they were there to fly and they did not want us there during that time. It was a great season again, though the last month there were fewer flying days than we had hoped! A small group had good flights this past Wednesday (Wyatt’s fun xc past Waterloo) Flight detail : Wyatt Brown - 28.5.2025 - VP - 15.64 km :: XContest.org - world of XC paragliding, as well here’s a link to a video of my last flight there this season in case you like mullets and fun:-)

Special thanks to Jens for cutting the trail again to the bail out LZ helping many evade blackberry encounters. Thanks to everyone who helps to maintain the place, and thanks to the family and Wayne for their hospitality! Let me know if you want to contribute to flags etc for next season.
