I think many of you have heard that a travel show is going to be featuring paragliding in the northwest.
They decided they wanted to feature the whole father son thing with me and my dad so we're headed out with the film crew tomorrow and hoping many of you could make it out for a cameo.
You wouldn't be required to do anything but hang out, BS and hopefully get in a decent flight.  Matt Henzi is going to be doing some tandems with one of the film guys and hopefully I'll be able to take my PPG out for a bit and get some mid air shots.
Right now, the weather doesn't look great anywhere but they had indicated they'd like to film in the Gorge so we're going to see if Bingen will work for at least some decent sledders.

Make it out if you can, it'd be great to see you.

I suspect we'll be out there by noon.
Thanks,
Nick

Hey Nick, looking at the forecast, it looks like Oceanside is showing the best chance of soaring.
All forecasts indicate light to moderate 6-10mph SW.  Cloud base is plenty high.  Best time to fly looks to be after 2pm.
High tide unfortionately is at 3pm with 9.5 ft height. But at OS there should still be beach.

Have fun, I got to work.
Dave

On Tuesday there was NO beach at Oceanside with a 7.25 ft high tide.  At least, that's what my last post said.

We are headed to cliffside with hopes of soar-ability.
