Got an email today. State park permits are doubling in January. 

Buying a 24-month permit by December 31 of this year will cost you $50 – cheaper than a 12-month permit for $60 starting January 1.

FYI - six or so pilots are going to do some yard work at Yaquina Monday morning.  That's plenty of people for what we're planning to do (South launch), but keep the site on your radar for future flights this year. Joseph Ahearne, current site liaison, is organizing the work with the site ranger/maintenance manager.  We have tree and brush removal and mowing in mind.
