Hey all. Great to see so many of you today! Just a quick heads up that there is a hang glider and reserve behind the towers at Peterson Butte. I realize this morning after some radio conversations and not everyone was aware. So in an effort to not surprise anyone here’s a photo from Austin.

That belongs to Pete Owens.  He plans to get it in the near future.  He parked it there when he had a structural issue a couple weeks ago.

It was rather alarming to see from the air without any prior knowledge, but thank you to Josh for the prompt response and making sure everyone else was informed.

Good flying with everyone who flew today, and great to see everyone who didn't.

We heard your chatter at Chehalem.  Clear line of sight.
I would be out the next day recovering gear. Oregon weather is not kind.

The retrieval delay is due to broken bones and the hope that the wind would assist with getting it to the ground.  It is in the top of a very large maple tree.
