Ecola had a soaring window of about 1 hour today.  Met Steve Messman at launch.  I had a 50 minute flight and Steve slightly shorter with top landings for each of us.  We launched again in diminishing winds and had a sled ride to the beach.
Fun day.

I have been in Oahu for about a week with too strong of winds.  My tan proves it.  Today was better.
I flew Hanaka? for over 2 hours with Alex, chec Pete, Don, Ray and few other locals.
The winds were a bit to east and the clouds were about 2k asl.  I was able to fly to 1950 asl
and go cross country for about 6 to 8 miles.  All in all, it was a sweet day in paradise.
The best part was my son EZ and wife had a great time at the beach.  He has sand in places
I never thought possible.  Do I have to come home?

See you state side for the Ocean side fly in.

Good for you Nate.  I visited that site 3 times when I was there and was skunked each time.

BTW its Kahana…   Here’s a link to the site description for the rest of you.
