or problems, conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data,
and analyzes problems to advise and make recommendations on business and
technical solutions based on hands-on experience solving similar business
problems. Utilizes knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific
discipline or field of specialization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience
and knowledge of various technologies and roles, including SME in product and
software or functional areas. Works with Mid and Senior management and
stakeholders in an organization.

Client is requesting the use of a Senior Consultant for Systems Administration with specific skills consistent with the set of tools and products currently used by the department for FY25 to continue work to facilitate online citizen access for most agency transactions eliminating in-person MVC visits and the MVC Agency Re-write project. In FY25 MVC will be replacing All 60 Escala servers located at all MVC agency locations as part of the MVC Agency Escala Replacement project. MVC has been operating under tight deadlines and competing priorities. At the heart of this initiatives are the core IT systems that support internal business processes and public-facing services, both over-the-counter as well as on-line.
MVC has been working diligently to transition to a new architecture and foundation for multiple prioritized projects and a seasoned professional is critically needed to facilitate the planning process, adhere to MVC architecture standards, and reduce the risk with overall implementation schedule. They are expected to provide effective reporting to internal and external stakeholders. They are expected to keep all project documentation current in SharePoint used for state resource transition. MVC is committed to prioritizing top initiatives while meeting citizen’s expectations for agency services, as well as, to continue to provide more on on-line services.
Experienced Bull Escala HVX System Senior Consultant to work with Bull Escala AIX system software in a dual operating system environment to provide Bull proprietary software application support with implementation, testing, and on-going administration. Ensure systems are optimally working.
