Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, cloud platforms, and modern data architecture practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks

• Develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks

• Lead data modernization and migration initiatives

• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to define architecture strategies

• Optimize Spark workloads and Databricks environments for performance and scalability

• Implement best practices around security, governance, monitoring, and CI/CD

• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of IT experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture

• Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark

• Experience with Azure Databricks / AWS Databricks

• Strong knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL

• Experience with Delta Lake, Data Lakehouse architecture

• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

• Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, or streaming technologies

• Exposure to AI/ML workloads in Databricks

• Databricks certifications preferred
