Hello,

Can CPAC accept fmri data preprocessed elsewhere as input? I've processed some data using fmriprep, and I'd like to run group-level analyses using CPAC (e.g., seed-based correlation analysis). However, in the documentation, the only descriptions of input data I've seen are BIDS datasets, which I'm assuming means original, unprocessed data. Can this be done?

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

This is now possible with C-PAC. It's a very new addition, and we're currently drafting new user documentation to outline the process.
The short of it, the preprocessed data needs to be placed in a BIDS-Derivatives format, in the directory that you've pointed C-PAC to look at as either the output or source directory.

Naming the data file with a format like such would allow C-PAC to know what to do:
sub-01_task-rest_desc-preproc_bold.nii.gz

In the upcoming release (v1.8.1), the "implanted" data won't require a BIDS sidecar JSON either, as C-PAC will generate one for any "implanted" data.

Let me know if you run into any issues or need more guidance - this is still a new feature and we'll need to find places where we can make it easier for users.

Best,
Steve
