Trouble in creating the cPath Database in MySQL

Hi,

I am a new user to cPath would reqire some help in the installation of
cPath. On running the initDb.pl script from bin dir I an getting the
following message:

C:\cPath\cPath\bin>perl initDb.pl
Using CPATH_HOME C:\cPath\cPath\bin
Script to Initialize cPath Database
===================================

Using Database Name:
Using Database Host:
Using Database User:
Using Database Password:

! Running this command will delete all existing data !
Are you sure you wish to proceed (Type: YES): YES
cannot open: C:\cPath\cPath\bin/dbData/cpath.sql at initDb.pl line 69,

ine 1.

Hi - looks like this is a windows/unix incompatibility bug:

Where it says:

C:\cPath\cPath\bin/dbData/cpath.sql

The cpath scripts are using / as path delimiters, but windows uses \ -
so the above is an invalid path name on Windows, so the system can't
open the file.

We don't officially support or test cpath on windows, just unix-based
systems, but you should be able to get it to work by updating these unix
type commands in all cpath scripts. If it does work for you, let us
know and maybe other Windows users can benefit from your experience.
