Hi guys,
Will the protein interactor id be unique across multiple pages of cpath
requests?

We carry out a search then play with the xml documents returned. We are
also using the paging feature to collect hundreds of entries. Can we
assume that the protein interactor id (xpath location
entrySet/entry/interactorList/proteinInteractor/@id) will be unique
across the pages?

Many thanks

Hi Iain,

Yes, protein interactor ids are actually the primary id in the cpath
table, and are therefore always unique.

Though they are set as records are imported, so if you create another
instance of cPath and import a new set of records, the primary keys
could be assigned differently (if the order of imported datasets or the
size of those datasets change).
