Ithaca's 2nd Annual Food Justice Summit
The Food Justice Summit is a multicultural community building celebration and educational event to engage people in building a local food system that supports personal health, community well being, ecological stewardship, economic vitality and access to
life-affirming foods for all.
The summit will include a walk-a-thon in the morning followed by an uplifting street fair with live music, local organic BBQ, culinary demonstrations and youth activities including Gardens 4 Humanity's Junior Iron Chef Competition, vendors with values,
speakers and workshops.
The event is organized by GreenStar Community Projects (the educational non-profit affiliate of GreenStar Market) in partnership with Congo Square Market, Gardens 4 Humanity, GIAC, Multicultural Resource Center, S.T.A.M.P., #TeamUnity, Whole Community
Project + many community and campus collaborators.
