Food Justice Summit - planning party Mon., June 4

The 2nd Food Justice Summit planning party is coming up on Monday, June 4th, 5:30pm at 302 South Plain Street (across from Southside Community Center). Food & drinks provided (I’m thinking peanut lime noodles, local organic mixed green salad w/ sesame ginger dressing & something w/ coconut to keep us hydrated ;-). You are welcome to bring something to share, or just your appetites!

If you've already expressed interest in planning the summit you should have received a separate e-vite to RSVP. All others please respond to this email so I can track numbers and plan enough food. Thank you!

Goals for Monday include:

1.   Volunteer Crews: overview of how to get a discount at GreenStar Co-op for volunteering with FJS (a live online demo of logging hours + brief orientation + Q&A)
2.     Keynote Speaker: brainstorm
3.     Workshops & Activities: brainstorm
4.     Whose ready to form a Walk-a-Thon team?!?!
