Hi everyone,
I hope people can meet on Sunday, May 13th, 7pm in Goldwin Smith Hall. This will be a planning meeting for (Tuesday's?) action on campus in response to the recent racist hate crime that occurred at Sigma Pi last Sunday, and to address larger concerns with racism, sexism, heterosexism, and oppression maintained and even encouraged through the administrative's recent response.
I've heard word of the Shawn Greenwood Working Group taking initiative on this, which is so incredible! So, I hope this time/day/place works for people there as well.
I know people are under tons of stress right now, so it's understandable if you cannot make it, but it would be great to have real collaboration on this. Please forward widely, if people have contacts in BSU, APAA, LASP, AAS, Africana, AIP, Haven, WRC, and other student of color and marginalized groups on campus it would be incredible to see these groups involved.
Thanks everyone,
