Hello food justice movers and shakers!

This fall will be Ithaca's 2nd Annual Food Justice Summit and you are warmly welcome to join us for our first planning party. Come find out more about the ideas brewing for this year's event and how you can plug in. Your talents and enthusiasm are needed! 17.5% discount at GreenStar Co-op available for core volunteers.

When: Friday, May 25th, 5:30pm
Where: Congo Square Market at Southside Community Center (305 S. Plain St)

Come early and enjoy the market. Thousands of One will be playing and great food and products will be available for sale. Afterwards we may wander across the street where Sarah has generously offered to host us and I've offered to keep us hydrated with my new favorite summer libations (think coconut & pineapple ;-). Ithaca's 2nd Annual Food Justice Summit *** September 22, 2012

Walk for Wellness Walk-a-Thon in the morning followed by a festival with live music, local organic BBQ, keynote speaker, youth activities, G4H's Junior Iron Chef Competition, vendors with values, educational and networking activities and much more!

The Food Justice Summit is organized by GreenStar Community Projects in partnership with community and campus partners interested in building a system of regional food sustainability that promotes health, equity, and community control of essential resources.
