Hello,
i have just moved to Charlotte Park (on American) and i was wondering
if anyone had opinion on walking in our neighborhood in the evening.
(safety issues, areas to avoid, experiences, etc...) also, let me know
if anyone would be interested in meeting up and walking together. i
can also meet up in the morning if it's around 6:15am. thanks in
advance for your thoughts on this.

Benja,
I just moved out of Charlotte Park in January, but in the seven years my husband & I lived over there, we walked (and jogged) quite a bit. I rarely went out alone after dark, but in the early evening, found it a nice place to run. People will occasionally shout from their cars, but with my headphones on, I rarely noticed.

I walk my dog to the park and do the paved path through the park sometimes. There are lots of folks who do the same so you should feel safe there. I live on River Rouge and rent out a home on Stevenson.
