Dr. Ryan is originally from a suburb of Chicago, called Norridge. From a young age, Dr. Ryan learned that family was the most important factor in his life. He came home to open a practice in this community largely because of how important family means to him.
Dr. Ryan will carry these principles into practice and ensure that your family will always come first! What matters to you, matters to us! He has a dog named Paisley and his wife, Gina, is our office manager! Dr. Ryan and Gina got married July, 2023!
Dr. Ryan went to undergrad at Monmouth College. He majored in Biopsychology while also playing 4 years of college baseball. After undergrad, Dr. Ryan attended the fountainhead of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Before graduating, Dr. Ryan performed an internship at Beacon of Life Chiropractic in Royersford, Pennsylvania. After graduating, Dr. Ryan performed two post-graduate internships at Vero Chiropractic in West Des Moines, Iowa, and Aurora Chiropractic in Aurora, Illinois. He has been certified in the highest certification, Advanced Proficiency, for Torque Release Technique. Dr. Ryan is also certified in Webster Technique, a technique that is specifically for pregnant women.
Dr. Ryan has a passion for serving kids, making sure they are growing up healthy. Healthy kids grow up to be healthy adults whereas sick kids grow up to be sick adults. Our goal is to help make this community one of the healthiest in the nation!
Dr. Kate Hageman was raised in Dixon, IL, and attended Newman Central Catholic High School. She studied Exercise Science at Illinois State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree. After graduating, Dr. Kate moved to Davenport, IA, and began school at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Since graduating from Palmer in 2018, Dr. Kate has taken a particular interest in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care. She is Webster certified and has received additional training in the assessment and care of pediatrics.
Dr. Kate is passionate about helping others unlock their full potential and strives to make a positive impact on all those she encounters. In her free time, Dr. Kate enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, running, playing golf with her boyfriend, and playing with their Golden Retriever, Shooter McGavin.
Gina is our office manager and Dr. Ryan's wife! She will be working throughout the office. She previously worked in Education for 5 years. Gina worked with Special Education students from Kindergarten through Second grade.
Gina loves chiropractic care and cannot imagine what her life would be like without it! She often times had low back pain and irregular cycles. With chiropractic care, she no longer struggles from either of those! She is able to keep up with her dog and Dr. Ryan!
Jennifer is one of the smiling faces you see when coming to Silver Lining Chiropractic! She grew up relatively close to here and graduated from Maine South High School. When Jennifer is not here making you smile at the office, you can find her with her son, Jayden. They are usually at their favorite place, the beach, or trying out a new restaurant in the area!
Mia is one of the smiling faces you will see when you come into Silver Lining Chiropractic! Mia grew up on the Northwest Side of Chicago. She graduated from Illinois State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. Mia spends her free time baking, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with loved ones!
Libby grew up in Ann Arbor Michigan and moved to Chicago in December with her fiance Oliver who is a chef. Libby was a chiropractic assistant for four years when she was living in Michigan and is excited to continue serving others! Being new to the area, Libby would love any recommendations for good places to explore, shop and eat good food!
Christie is our Social Media/Marketing Coordinator that will be taking pictures and videos to share with our followers on social media! Christie grew up and currently lives in Rosemont with her husband and toddler, just a few minutes from SLC.
When Christie isn't in the office, she loves spending time with her family and son. Christie started bringing her son to SLC a few months ago, and after seeing major improvements in his temperament, asthma flare ups, and sleep - she decided to join our team!
Max's mom brought him to SLC in hopes of regulating emotions and symptoms related to his ADHD diagnosis. After starting his chiropractic care plan, she noticed that his symptoms improved drastically, his digestion improved, and he found relief from stiff neck and shoulders!
