Are you able to address Porta-potty issue in Lindsley Park?
There's only ever a single Porta-potty available in the SE corner that seems to be insufficient for demand.

If the bench by the tennis courts was removed from the Porta-potty shelter, two additional Porta-potties could be added with an ADA Compliant option next to it.

Maybe we can get the water fountain upgraded with the future plans for an off-leash dog park so that it is freeze-proof & available year-round.

Dear Neighbors, 


Our 2025 Fall Community Clean-Up Day is this month! We need your help to keep our cherished parks and neighborhoods beautiful. Participants can choose to do one or both of the following volunteer activities:


  1. Re-painting bus stop benches: Help clean and put a fresh coat of paint on bus stop benches in District 5.
  2. Parks and open space clean-up: Spruce up half of city-owned parks and open spaces in District 5.


Fall Community Clean-Up Day will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.! Meet at the Montclair Recreation Center (729 Ulster Way) to grab supplies, breakfast, coffee or juice, and meet Councilwoman Sawyer. Sign-up at: bit.ly/FallCleanup2025.


The parks and open spaces being cleaned on September 28 are:

 

  • 6th Ave Parkway (Colorado Blvd to Monaco Pkwy)
  • City of Ulaanbaatar Park (5th Ave between Rosalyn & Syracuse in Lowry)
  • Cranmer Park
  • Crescent Park
  • Crestmoor Park
  • Jacobs Park
  • James N Manley Park
  • Lowry Sports Park
  • Monaco Pkwy (E Colfax to 6th Ave)
  • Pulaski Park

 

The bus stops that will be re-painted on September 28 are:

 

  • 1st Ave & University Blvd
  • E Bound – 11th Ave & Spruce Ct
  • E Bound – 11th Ave & Willow St
  • E Bound – 6th Ave & Lafayette St
  • E Bound – Colfax Ave & Bellaire St
  • E Bound – Colfax Ave & Cherry St
  • E Bound – Colfax Ave & Monaco Pkwy
  • N Bound – Colorado Blvd & 14th Ave
  • N Bound – Colorado Blvd & 6th Ave
  • S Bound – Monaco Pkwy & 6th Ave
  • W Bound – 1st Ave & University Blvd
  • W Bound – 6th Ave & Quebec St
