Construction Notice: Washington Park

Dear community members,

 

Denver Parks and Recreation will be repairing the fireplace at the picnic site located north of the field in Washington Park. The fireplace is being restored to its original design, with repairs including patching the exterior wall and replacing damaged or missing flagstone. In addition, we will repair the flagstone on the picnic area walls. Construction will begin mid-January and is expected to be completed by April.

 

This fireplace will be available for permitted use once it is repaired. Obtain a permit at denvergov.org/ParkProjects.
