✦ 2026-04-a ✦ | Hinds' Sights | Your District 10 Update | | Spring is here in Denver, and with it comes a renewed opportunity to care for the places we share. As we head into April, I’m glad to bring you updates from District 10 and ways to stay involved in our community. A quick but important reminder: street sweeping is now underway. Please move your vehicles on posted days so crews can do their job effectively. Clean streets reduce pollution, protect our waterways, and keep our neighborhoods looking their best. | Save Money with Graywater Systems Councilman Hinds is helping District 10 residents save money and water by supporting Denver’s Graywater Program, which teaches how to safely reuse household graywater -- inside and out. This program lets residents recycle water from sinks, showers, and laundry to water plants or lawns, reducing fresh water use and lowering utility bills. By working with the City, the Councilman is making it easier for neighbors to install graywater systems at home. The program provides clear guidance, educational resources, and step-by-step support to ensure these systems are safe and effective. | Electrifying Denver's Homes The City and County of Denver, in partnership with the Denver Regional Council of Governments, is promoting the transition of homes to all-electric systems to cut carbon pollution and improve comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality.
