Stretch of Broadway will close Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for crews to install sign bridge at Kentucky Avenue   DENVER – A contractor for Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) will close Broadway between Ohio and Tennessee avenues tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2, at approximately 10 p.m. until Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 4 a.m. to install an overhead sign bridge at Kentucky Ave. This is one of the final construction activities for the Travel and Safety Improvement Project at Broadway and I-25, which is scheduled to wrap up in spring 2026.   The installation of the overhead sign bridge requires a shutdown of Broadway in both directions for safety. The detour around the closure will utilize Ohio Ave, Logan St, and Mississippi Ave. Drivers headed northbound on Broadway will head west on Mississippi to northbound Santa Fe to get onto I-25. Drivers headed southbound on Broadway will access I-25 as usual. Exits onto Broadway from I-25 will remain open.                                   . ###             ###
