Your continued support as a dedicated and involved community group is invaluable to keeping residents informed across the city. We wanted to notify you of an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes at Denver’s Compost and Recycling facilities. 

 

This fall, the City and County of Denver’s Solid Waste Management division is offering limited tour slots to visit Republic Services recycling center and the Waste Management landfill and compost facilities to provide a first-hand look at how Denver processes trash, composted and recycled materials. 

 

When: Friday, Nov. 7, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

Where: Republic Services and Waste Management Facilities

Spots on these tours are limited to 18 people, and determined on a first-come, first-served basis. All interested community members must reserve a tour spot online. Walk-in attendance is not permitted. You will be notified after submission if the tour is full and put on a waiting list for any cancellations.
