Hello,

The Colfax BRT Project Is adding a number of cycle tracks and other shared use connections along the North or South side of Colfax Avenue.

Some examples are planned or already installed at Ogden, Steele, & Krameria to name a few for comparison.

Requesting that we revise the plans from City Park Esplanade to Detroit Street along the north side of Colfax Avenue to include a shared-use sidewalk or cycle track.

I'm confident that the existing fence is encroaching upon the public right away and can be removed when the existing bus stop is removed as well.

In addition, the curb side parking from the corner of Detroit Street to City Park Esplanade can be identified as drop off and pick up only. Students exiting the vehicles could then access Denver East via the existing sidewalk once the fence is removed.

I strongly believe that this will make navigating Colfax and accessing Denver East High School safer for everyone, but especially for students of Denver East High School.

Thank you in advance for addressing this gap in our mobility.

Respectfully,
Bryan Wilson
