On May 16, 2026, neighborhoods across Denver will come alive with young entrepreneurs as kids step into business ownership for a day through Lemonade Day.
Lemonade Day is a hands-on, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to plan, create, and run their own small business, right in their own communities. While kids may start with lemonade, what they gain goes much deeper: real-world skills like goal-setting, teamwork, money management, problem-solving, and confidence.
This is more than a one-day event. It’s an opportunity to activate your community, bring families together, and give kids a meaningful way to learn and grow.
We’re inviting neighborhoods, HOAs, and community spaces to participate in a few simple ways:
Register Kids
Families in your community can register their children to participate and receive access to Lemonade Day’s FREE kid-friendly business curriculum.

Host a “Sweet Spot”
Restaurants, storefronts, business owners and community spaces, such as clubhouses, parks, pools, rec centers, or common areas can serve as a “Sweet Spot” location. Sweet Spot hosts provide a welcoming, visible place for kids to set up their stands without having to manage the stand themselves.

Mentor or Volunteer
Community members can volunteer as mentors or event-day helpers, offering encouragement and real-world insight that helps kids feel supported and seen.
