Denver Police District 2 Community Meeting With Commander Aragon (2CAB) Wednesday, April 2nd at 6 PM at the District 2 Station, 3921 N Holly Street. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. The special guest speaker will be Denver District Attorney John Walsh. Questions and comments can be asked at the end of this meeting. Additional CAB dates for 2025 are as follows: May 7th, June 4th, No July or August date, Sept. 3rd, Oct 1st, Nov. 5th, and Dec 3rd.
Denver Police District 2 Touch a Truck Event – Saturday, April 5th from 11 AM to 2 PM at Swansea Elementary! Everyone is welcome!! Denver Police Cars, Denver Fire Truck, Denver Police Horses/Mounted Patrol, Denver Sherriff Horses/Mounted Patrol, many kinds of vehicles that help our community, and antique vehicles. FREE Food & Drink – while supplies last.
Free Community Self Defense Class – Saturday, May 3rd from 10 AM to 2 PM at Johnson Rec Center, 4809 N Race Street Registration opens 2 weeks prior to class. Classes fill quickly.

Classes fill quickly when registration opens. Go to DPD’s Self Defense information page (click on the Safety Education Tab). If you would like to be added to be notified when class registration opens use this link email notification list.
Neighborhood Watch community members, due to an increase in certain types of crime in District 2, we are asking for your help to message your neighbors the following:
- Do not leave firearms in vehicles unattended.
- Do not leave garage door openers in your unoccupied vehicles.
- Remove valuables from your vehicle.
Do you know a TEEN who would like to volunteer this summer with DPD, while serving their community? Graduates of the program will receive a certificate and letter of recommendation from DPD. Learn more about DPD’s Teen Volunteer Program.
