Hello All,
Now that the new Secret Garden Bar & Cafe is open, more people will have a reason to converge at 13th & Williams & see the accessibility issues that have plagued RTD riders for decades...
Access into Cheesman from 13th & Williams on Instagram
For those on Nextdoor, I shared the news of The Secret Garden Bar & Cafe & the CHUN Happy Hour. Maybe take RTD to see the connectivity issues firsthand. Enter your Origin to Plan your Trip with RTD.
Perhaps we can pool resources to get this connection installed ASAP while also adding a Bike Denver connection in the process.

Try biking to the new Secret Garden Bar & Cafe without riding on sidewalks to see the connectivity gaps for yourself...
My request is to URGENTLY install a Shared-Use Connection from the 12th & Williams RTD Bus Stop in Cheesman Park & connect it to a sidewalk along 13th. This may require eliminating the parking spaces in front of 1290 Williams St to install a sidewalk connection from 13th at Williams that isn't obstructed by parking. It will definitely require widening the ramp access into the park or adding a second ramp that is 8ft wide MINIMUM between any railings without 90-degree turns.
