CP2k Install

Respected sir 

 I install cp2k using toolchain.sh file, i install all library required for cp2k, also generate arch file local.psmp, local.popt so on after finished step, when i was execute the command $ make -j 8 ARCH=local VERSION="psmp"   there was an error message "No DBCSR submodule available, please run 'git submodule update --init --recursive"

how to solve this, how to update git submodule by using command, 

please help me out solve this issue

Have you tried to run the suggested command:

run 'git submodule update --init --recursive"

?

I have:

kirimu /usr/local/sw/cp2k-9.1.0 # git submodule update --init --recursive
fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

I have downloaded the sources from https://github.com/cp2k/cp2k/releases/

You have to download 

cp2k-9.1.tar.bz2

file (not the source file) as described at: https://github.com/cp2k/cp2k/blob/master/INSTALL.md
