My code initially did 2 runs, with a 20 hr wall time for a run. But when I kept it for the third run, exactly the same and did no changes, it showed me the following error today:

" A floating point type object was expected, File: 'xyz.restart', Line: 5655, found end of the line, Column: 3, Chunk: < > "

Can someone help me out ASAP?
Thanks in advance:)

This will be hard to answer without seeing the actual input/restart file. But if I had to guess the job terminated while the restart file was being written leading to an incomplete restart file. If you have the restart file from your first run you can compare the file size and/or number of lines. If this is what has happened you can avoid this issue by adding 'WALLTIME 19:50:00' to the global section in CP2K with 10 minutes less than the walltime of your job it will have plenty of time to write the files it needs to before cleanly terminating.
