SecureRemote - Site created, but not responding

Hi everybody,

I have a WXP NG R56 build number 619

When I run the SecureRemote client (I'm using the R56 client) I can
create
the site (which needs authentication via secure ID card) and this pulls
down the Remote Access
profile OK , but when I go to connect to this site I get the message
'Gateway Not Responding' and then 'Connection Failed'.

Anyone have a hint or two?

Hi.
1. Always try using latest version (today it's NGX - R60).

2. From what you are describing it is a connectivity problem and it can
be solved by using an option: Use IKE over TCP. (Should be enabled at
the gateway and at the SecureRemote/SecureClient). It's under advanced
menu at R56 and lower version. If using NGX client you will achive it
when choosing advanced when creating a site and choosing use IKE over
TCP.

Hi Alex,

thanks a lot. But I have already set "IKE over TCP". Someone says there
could be a conflict to another VPN-Software (CISCO). Do you have any
other idea? Thanks so much!!

Hi have you checked that the support IKE over TCP is checked at the
fw-1 global properties?

P.S.
You can easily check if it's a conflict problem by just uninstalling
the Cisco VPN client.
But from my expirience this doesn't seem to be a problem.
