I want to change the IP of a SmartCenter server and the internal
interfaces of a Nokia IP265 router cluster, but I'm unsure about the
order of operations. The SC sits inside the cluster. I'm thinking I
need to update the IP and topology of the SC , modules, and cluster
policy objects first, then push a policy. At this point I should lose
communications between SC and the modules. Then use Voyager to re-
address the cluster members and VRRP. Then use Windows tools to re-
address SC (running on Win2k3 server). Then verify SIC.
Thing is, I'm very nervous because if that first policy push is
incorrect I won't be able to use SC to make changes to it. Anyone done
this?
Using IPSO 3.9 Build 28, CP NGX R60
