REST API returns compound array; can't get all fields to return in preview or subsequent tasks

When I create a REST connection, and then subsequently use it in a REST source, I'm only getting 2 compound fields, but I can't seem to get the rest to pull in, and preview within the REST source.

Within the REST source task, even when I change the column outputs to the subset for bedded patients, I don't get these columns as an output.   Any suggestions?

Hi,

I suspect you want to extract BeddedPatients data. Therefore, you fields metadata should be initialized to the resource fields, like LastName, FirstName, etc.

And you have to set element Result=“{{=response.BeddedPatients}}”

I'm having a similar issue with compound fields.

could you please clarify what you mean by  "fields metadata should be initialized to the resource fields".
