April 2014: Some news about the Cozy Project

Hi all,

  Here are the latest news about the Cozy project:

Community

No big news for this month except that our pictures of Cozy Box prototypes were quite successful on Twitter! Whatever, the community is still very active. You keep providing us with code/bug reports/feature suggestions. So thank you all for making this project so awesome!
Fact: Our Twitter account will reach 750 followers soon.

Developments

- Mihnea added a tagging feature in the files application.
- Benjamin added application update notifications to the Cozy Home.
- Benjamin added export capability to Pierre's bookmarks application.
- Benjamin fixed notes application startup.
- Sara Viera added support for portuguese to the Cozy Home
- Romain improved sharing capabilities of the files application by allowing to give write access to guests.
- Romain made an Android Application to read files from the smartphone.
- Zoé made some fixes to the Cozy Controller, the Cozy Monitor and to the Cozy Data System.
- Joseph renamed the cozy-manager dev tool to cozy-dev and added fixtures capabilities to it.
- Joseph published the refactoring of the Cozy Proxy.
- Joseph and I made the migration of Cozy from Node 0.8 to Node 0.10

Work in Progress

- Zoe, Joseph and I are mainly working on Files client for Linux and iOS.
- Romain is still working on improving the UX of the files sharing feature.

Awesome stuff! I look forward to these updates, thank you Frank. I wasn't even aware of the cozy box prototypes... but I'll check it out, very interested!
