the proposal

Hi everyone,

Thanks a lot for your support for the world cafe. :)

I've already come up with a draft proposal.

the proposed time is Dec 11, 2009 (Friday), 16:00-18:00

Please read this proposal and give some feed back.

The next meeting would be tomorrow 9am right after the spokes council. let's meet at the spokes council meeting room(Boil Udsen).

Now i need help with two things so far,

1.booking the venue.

as Willson has sad, every observer org is able to book one.

but I'm not registered by my own org so it is not so convenient with me to do so. 

is there any body can help?

2. invite people

we are looking for three kinds of people:

1. Participants: participants from all over the world is welcomed. No matter your experience and your region. if you want to learn the different aspects and actions, please come.

2. group facilitators : who has experiences on facilitating discussions, especially world cafe and open spaces. We need you to make the conversation to be focused and make sure everybody is contributing.  

3. Graphic recorder: some one who is familiar with making mind maps whether with posters and  computer softwares. we need you to converge the ideas in the whole meeting room.

I need help to spread this information around. We are making posters, it should be printed out by tomorrow, so I need help to post it around. I'll be in the spokes council meeting and make announcements. but if you have another channel to invite these three kind of people to come, please invite them.

Dear All,

I am Sye Yuet from Singapore, facilitating the facilitators aspect of the world cafe. I encourage all everyone on this group function as facilitators. Please send me your contact details if you are interested.

I propose the facilitators meeting contain the following:

1. Introduction of facilitators 

2. Outline the aims and process of the cafe event (according to email)

3. Roles and responsibilities of the facilitators

4. Points to note: cultural sensitivities, skills in moderating

5. Q N A + Suggestions

Please do give comments and suggestions for the facilitators meeting.

May you send an email out to YOUNGO mailing list once you are able to confirm the venue to ask for more facilitators please? And then, we can confirm whether to meet on thursday for our facilitators meeting.
