Hi All
I am new to the COY group. Let me introduce myself, My name is Rajeev
Vishnu, a 4th year Undergraduate Student from Indian Institute of
Technology Kharagpur, India. I am currently pursuing my majors in
Economics with plans to streamline in Environmental Economics.
I have been doing some work related to carbon dioxide emissions in
India and hope to get my work published soon. Right now, I am
associated with a research group working in Ecological economics. I
would like to be part of COY7.
Please let me know how I can help. I would like to be part of the Fund
raising WG.
Since this is a fund raising specific group, Please guide me further
about the way meetings are held etc.

it's a pleasure to have you with us!
We will let you know when the next Skype conversation will be, so that
you can join us.
We're currently working on a standard document that each one of us can
give to potential sponsors/partners to present the COY programme.
We're also estimating a budget for the conference.
It would be great if you could start thinking if there's any company
you know - or anyone else - interested in supporting us.
Then, once the documents will be ready and agreed, we will be able to
start approaching them.

I am pleased to inform you that after a close skype chat yesterday with a Professor from South Africa, University of Pretoria who sugegsted she will be sending some dedicated sponsors by Monday.
She spoke about ESKOM in South Africa as one of the prospective companies she has worked with because they offer bursaries to their students.
