temporarily off air

Has anyone else got this??? I have about 6 channels in my extended
digital cable that keeps telling me temporarily off air, well, this
temporarily has been over 4 months!!! I live in a 2 floor apartment, it
works downstairs, but upstairs they do not. we have check the wires, and
changed the splitter but its still not working, any one have any ideas?

I had this problem. I was using the wrong gauge of wire instead of using the
thicker digital cable wire that the cable company gives. That was my
problem- don't know if it helps....

must be put before the splitter....hope this helps

Make sure you are using the same guage coaxial cable the cable company uses
(this was my problem) or try a different box?
